Here's the story

Black Saddle is a bicycle shop. If you come through the door, you are welcome. This is a safe space. Opening Black Saddle has been a two year journey of learning, faking when needed, planning, failing and rebuilding. Ultimately we're here to service your bike with pride - that's our main gig. Any bike, two wheels, three wheels, e-bike, trike and all the like. We also do stock and custom bikes well. All built with care. We're excited to work with you. Come on in, the coffee is on and the music is playing.

Yesterday, @madrat_63 and I cruised up nort(h) to race (virtually) in the Chequamegon 40. Well, after 20 miles on the vast, always changing course, we calculated that we'd get back to the car way too late to be home at a decent hour. The drive is over four hours. Lucky for us we didn't have to take the same path home because there's intersecting single track flowing all the way back to the start. We'll be talking about this one for a long time.34/17 is the perfect gear up there for the single speeding folks.
